EPAS European Parliament Junior Ambassadors
Gli studenti della nostra scuola, cinquanta giovani nominati European Parliament Junior Ambassadors (EPAS), hanno partecipato a un percorso formativo dedicato ai valori fondanti dell’Unione Europea: democrazia, diritti umani, solidarietà, responsabilità civica e inclusione. Guidati dai docenti e supportati da materiali didattici mirati, i ragazzi hanno lavorato in gruppi per approfondire il funzionamento delle istituzioni europee, il processo decisionale comunitario e il ruolo dei cittadini nella costruzione di una società più partecipativa.
Come prodotto del percorso, il gruppo ha realizzato una serie di cartelloni didattici e creativi che illustrano il funzionamento dell’UE. I cartelloni sono stati esposti in una mostra allestita nella scuola, dove visitatori e compagni hanno potuto seguire percorsi tematici pensati dagli studenti e consultare materiali informativi da loro elaborati.
A coronamento del progetto, gli studenti hanno visitato l’Experience “Europe” intitolata a David Sassoli. La visita, arricchita da contenuti multimediali e attività guidate, ha offerto un’esperienza immersiva sulle istituzioni europee e ha consolidato le conoscenze acquisite, stimolando ulteriori riflessioni sul ruolo attivo dei giovani nella società europea.
Fifty students from our school, appointed as European Parliament Junior Ambassadors (EPAS), took part in a learning programme focused on the core values of the European Union: democracy, human rights, solidarity, civic responsibility and inclusion. Led by teachers and supported with tailored educational resources, the students worked in teams to explore how EU institutions function, the European decision-making process and the role of citizens in building a participatory society.
As an outcome of the programme, the group produced a series of informative and creative posters explaining how the EU works (Council, Commission, European Parliament, legislative process and European symbols). These posters were displayed in a school exhibition where visitors and fellow students could follow thematic routes designed by the pupils and consult the educational materials they created.
To conclude the project, the students visited the “Europe” Experience dedicated to David Sassoli. The visit, enhanced by multimedia content and guided activities, provided an immersive insight into European institutions and reinforced the knowledge gained while encouraging further reflection on young people’s active role in European society.
